First-Time Freshmen
Analysis of Multiple Applications

Description

The first-time freshmen application and enrollment tables listed at this site were derived from fall ERSA and ERSS files. The displays were modeled after historical tables developed by Dr. Larry Jordan, the former Director of Institutional Research at California State University, Los Angeles.

The Systemwide summary tables list the following for each CSU campus:

  • Number of single freshman applications received for fall term
  • Number of dual freshmen applications received for fall term (i.e., the applicants applied to one other CSU)
  • Number of multiple freshmen applications received for fall term (i.e., the applicants applied to at least two other CSU campuses)
  • Number of campus enrollments generated by single applications for fall term
  • Number of campus enrollments generated by dual applications for fall term
  • Number of campus enrollments generated by multiple applications for fall term
  • Yield rates for single, dual, and multiple applications (i.e., enrollments per unique applicants)
